Taking out travel insurance is also a good idea for a package tour. If you cancel a booked trip, some tour operators have to pay cancellation fees. If you cancel a trip at short notice, the cancellation costs can be up to 100 percent of the travel price. The travel insurance reimburses you costs e.g. due to illness of the insured person or family members, or in the event of significant property damage to the insured person's property in accordance with our insurance conditions.
